The villa is situated in one of Italy's most beautiful national parks, Parco Dell' Aveto, and offered some excellant hiking opportunities right on the doorstep. If you feel like visiting the coast the beaches of the Riviera De Levante are an hours drive away. We alternated beach and mountain days and found something to suit all our family. We found the villa very comfortable and with all a family needs to keep both children and adults happy. The villa has stunning views and the clean mountain air was refreshing after the heat of Genoa or the coast, but equally it was great to be on a hot beach after a few disappointing holidays in the UK and France. Our children loved bug hunting and tree climbing one day and then snorkelling swimming the next. Getting there was very easy too, flights to Genoa from Gatwick were cheap and well timed. It was a great holiday and we'll definitely be going back.
