Pendamodi is a bit off the beaten path but being almost in the center of Crete nothing is to far away. If you are looking for a quiet destination this is it also if you are not looking maybe consider it, excellent value for your money and most destinations are close from here. The taverna up the street had excellent food and the owner spoke good english. Over all a friendly place.
