It is an area that is undergoing a lot of new developments with a new golf course and lots of seaside residents and in a few years time will be an even better place to stay. It seems to be favoured by the British so there are a lot of restaurants to cater for the British taste but we also found plenty of good authentic Spanish restaurants.
Review by Lee Bramley from Lymm
Pilar de la Horadada is a typical spanish small town consisting of small supermarkets, weekly market, bars restaurants etc. catering for the local population. There are other shops here so you can find virtually anything you want. For the more " touristy " bars, restaurants etc you need to head for torre De la horadada which is on the coast about 3/4 kms away. There is a spanish enclosed square hidden away here which consists of bars, restaurants which are very good. The beaches are very good and very safe and you do not need to travel too far to find a good place on the beach to relax and have fun.
