Playa Flamenca is a residential area where you will find mainly English and German residents. There are lots of villas to rent and the area is still developing. Work on the roads and pathways to the beach is still in progress and it is a developing area. Plenty of supermarkets and bars and restuarants plus weekly markets. Nightlife is mainly bars and restaurants and there are no big nightclubs. Ideal for people looking for a quiet holiday and good weather is essential as there are no entertainment facilities to cater for wet days.

a great place for more mature holiday makers and young families or a cheap break for students, with an average nightlife!

Playa flamenca ia a typical seaside resort in spain. If you accept you wont get the traditional spanish culture it's a fun place. It mainly had families visiting with young children and teanagers. It was certainly the place to go to cover a familys age range of holiday demands which can often be tricky.

DUPLICATE : Playa flamenca is brilliant we have been going now for about 5 years, is very much family orientated. Planty of restaurants chinese, indian, hungarian, english, italian Some restaurants we recommend are Barbella, Chinese next to Celtic Drop, McNeils and for fish and chips spud murphys. These are all in the square which is always clean and is safe for the kids to run round freely not having to worry about traffic. Plenty of entertainment from karaoke to bands and singers.
Beaches are within walking distance and very clean, all have beach shacks where you can buy a refreshing drink or snacks. A new promenade has just been built and some renovations are still on going. If you like water sports La Zenia Beach is suitable which is a short drive away or a short walk round the coast if you are feeling energetic.
Plenty of supermarkets to go at we found that Mercadonna was overall the best. Supercor is probably the closest which has burger king that as recently opened nearby.
For a little shopping the Saturday Market is a must close to the Mercadonna which sells everything from fruit and veg, shoes, belts clothes everything you can think of and dont forget to barter.
Hope this gives you abit of insight into want we experienced in playa flamenca and enjoy yours hols as we always do.

Playa Flamenca is a lively area with lots of bars and restaurants with wonderful beaches close by.

Playa Flamenca is a lovely area. Much effort has gone in to making the beaches clean and attractive. You can have the holiday you want, I go for the weather and to relax and catch up with my reading, My husband goes for the active holiday (kite surfing and golf). In the evenings we may eat in or simply choose to have a fantastic meal in one of the many restaurants and at a fraction of the price we would pay at home. Anyone can determine the type of holiday they want inPlaya Flamenca from quiet and lazy to wild and wacky, it's here!

Playa Flamenca had everything you could need; shops, supermarkets, restaurants. We had a car, but if you didn't you had plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay but finding spanish restaurants is difficult however plenty of Indian, Chinese and British fare is on offer. Lots of supermarket choice.

Playa Flamenca is central to all area,s. A car would be helpful, but not a must. There are buses and taxis to were ever you want to go. People are very friendly, most speak English. A good choice of resraunts, cheap and cheerful or more upmarket.

Review by Rachel Cook from 94 Ty Gwyn Drive Brackla Bridgend
It was a nice area but to get the beach we had to cross a very busy road and have young children! Because of the time of year a lot of shops were shut so I would not go at this time of year again. On the positive side the people were very friendly and it was quite a relaxing holiday.
