The area of Praia da Gale is ideal for a relaxing holiday with plenty of restaurants and numerous beaches within walking distance. It has a friendly atmosphere and your always made to feel welcome.

Praia da Gale is very picturesque and quiet. There are numerous other beaches and if you take the time to wander round the rocks at low tide there are may bays which are totally deserted. The walk to Praia da Grande is well worth it with miles of unspoilt sand. The area is within easy reach of Albufeira where the Marina is well worth a visit. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance but to reach all the best areas, a car would be essential and worth the expense. All in all I would recommend Gale for a quiet family holiday not for anybody looking for night clubs and "18-30" type breaks.
