This resort would suit anyone the resort is safe - the security is fantastic - the golf course is one of the most beautiful in spain and has its own beachclub on la manga which is opened june to sep - the clubhouse itself is excellent for food and cocktails - and it set in a beautiful location within roda resort itself. There are a range of apartments - townhouses and villas - all luxurious and different sizes! There is a mini mart on site as well for your basic supplies - 15 mins walk from the main gates there are a range of supermarkets and then a 5 - 10 minute walk to your main square and beaches with loads of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from.
- if anyone had mobility problems - (the resort is slightly outwith the main resort of balnearios plaza) - then i would reccommend hiring a car just for ease of going shopping, getting into town and seeing the sights - we hired bikes which were delivered to the villa - excellent service
5 minutes walk turning right from the main gates there is a new irish bar and top class restaurant called campbells - which is always busy and it is advisable to book.
It is an absolutely gorgeous resort - and the year round temperature - is in general very high! i would recommend anyone to go here!

Roda is a good place to stay - even when youre not a golfer. Fantastic pools and gardens to laze around, the extremely chic Beach Club is well worth a visit, and the food in the club house is great.

This is an excellent holiday destination. It is a luxury resort with facilities for both golfers and sun lovers. The grounds are well maintained and the pools lovely.(There was some concern over the number of ear infections contracted). The club house is friendly and very good value for money and convenient as the resort is at least a 20minutes walk. However, taxis are available and only cost approx seven euros. The beach club has only just opened and parts are still being completed, but it is lovely. It reminded us of the bach clubs in the south of France - exclusive!
I would recommend this resort to families and couples who are looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, close to other ammenities and interesting cities to visit.

Roda is a brand new resort in an excellent location. The golf course is the best in the area, well-managed and in first-class condition. It is located next to the Mar Menor with excellent facilities for families and c ouples alike.
