A good location, far enough from the town of Pafos, but no too far for an evening out. Excellent access to the motorway for Limmasol and Nicosia

My husband and I along with our 4 and 8 year old sons arrived at Paphos airport and awaited our contact Andreas.
Andreas was a charming man who was very helpful and chatted with us en-route to our villa, answering our questions about the local area and the sights we saw along the way.
The villa was clean and fresh, well equipped and with a pool all ready and waiting for us to all jump into!
The villa is in a great location, but it is high up and a way from a public transport etc, so the 4 seater, air conditioned car was a brilliant addition to the villa and it was perfectly clean, well maintained vehicle.
There was nothing we missed from home, everything was in working order and and clean.
there was even a cool bag and box available to use.
Clearly the owners have thought about their guests and have provided pretty much everything one needs for a most enjoyable stay.
Andreas lives next door and he and his family were very friendly, very much there of we needed them, but not once did they encroached on our space.
Value for money was second to none. We would definitely recommend this fabulous villa to anyone looking to stay in Cyprus.
I would say that if there are more than 4 of you , then I suggest you do hire a bigger car or a second car if there are two families, as a car is essential.
Families with toddlers should be aware that the villa is on a lovely elevated plot and although perfectly safe, small children can get through the fencing wires and could slip and fall the 6ft drop to the ground, so you will have to keep your eye on them...although there is a pool too, so one would assume you would be outside with them anyway.
The owner has described the villa and the surrounding area very well in his description and I really can't tell you how pleasant the communication with has been.

Secret Valley is very scenic, however, we felt it is engineered to the Golf sector and would be better marketed as that instead of families. If you are happy to spend loads of your holiday driving there are gorgeous places around within 30 minutes+ range. Towards Limassol we visited a Ampitheatre ruin - it was gorgeous. Nicosia was an hour away but a real must to see. You cross over the border to Turkey and it is an amzing contrast. The town is full of character. I loved it (Dont forget to take your passport) Animal and bird park is worth a visit. 15 Euros adults 8 for children. Ayanap is just under 2 hours away. Although very expensive Cyprus is a beautiful place.

ok for my holiday it was perfect quiet peacefull just what i wanted and easy access to main roads yet far enough away to have a quiet time no hassle all i could ask for .great views off the sunset well if i could i would love to buy this place and move there it was that good for me.
instructions on how to get there from airport were spot on and and when needed the cleaner was always at the end of the phone if i had any questions .
found this to be be a great place

Secret Vally is a New 'District', still under construction in many parts, but we didnt find this a problem, it did not spoil our enjoyment of our property there are no facilities for entertainment only the Golf club 5 mins by car from the villas, this is a quality good value for money venue for eating and bar facilities. A car is essential as it is too far to walk from the residential part of the site to 'anywhere' The nearest village being 10 mins away by car and the temperature was in the upper 30's during our stay and there is no shade.
The residences themselves are top quality beautiful places ideal if anyone wants a restful peaceful base, somewhere to 'recharge the batteries'

Secret Valley is a very nicely maintained and progressing development - although i can foresee other properties being built in this area i do not think it will detract from the overall presentation of the area - particularly if they are all of a similar design -The villas that are there are all built to a good standard and all look extremely upmarket i did not see anything that let the development down. It looked like there were a mixture of residential and holiday villas. The development is close to other areas of interest but you will need a car to access them - I did not find driving in cyprus to be a problem at all - just like the UK but with less traffic jams, plus the signposts have english on them too. There is much to see and do if you want to go out and find it. Eating out is a relatively relaxing and not too expensive experience - Most of the taverna's seem genuinely please to receive your custom and are proud of their cuisine. I stayed at the Secret Valley Resort for 10 days and would have dearly loved to have stayed longer - it was a truly relaxing experience. I would recommend to anyone.
