Beaches in Tilkicik bay are rubbish! Privately owned by hotels full of French tourists, really narrow and a bit dirty. Public beach in central Yalikavak much better but this area isn't the best if you love the beach. They are narrow shingle and sand and there isn't alot of space to swim. Good for watersports, boating etc.

Its a lovely area, quiet and good for familys or couples who don't want too much noise, plenty of choice in restaurants and beaches.
