A car is definatley required if you stay here as the restaurants and shops ae not within walking distance especially in the hot summer months

The area was immaculate, neat and tidy. The swimming pools were spotlessly clean the whole area was very well looked after. It felt safe. There were plenty of sunbeds and brollies provided and it was peaceful.

There are some building works in the area but its quiet at night. Its within walking distance of harbour but a bit too hot to walk in mid summer (36 degrees) - I'd recommend an air conditioned car.
Review by David & Jenny Crook from Croydon
Universal Gardens is predominantly a new residential area with very few restaurants or shops (so far) but there is a local taverna and a mini-market between 5-10 minutes walk away. Kato Paphos' lively centre is another 10 minutes walk away so Universal Gardens is undisturbed by revellers yet still fairly convenient for the harbour and archaeological sites. The older centre of Ktima Paphos is best reached by car: it has good supermarkets, proper shops and good Cypriot restaurants near the covered market. Universal Gardens is also close to the dual carriageway leading out of Paphos to the motorway (for Limassol, Larnaka and Nicosia), to the airport and north to Polis.

Fabulous location, within walking distance of everything you will need.
Review by Michelle Millar from Falkirk
Universal Gardens itself was scruffy. There are building and roadworks going on all around the villa. There is a lot of scrub land and a lot of litter. It is an area that is under development, therefore if you can see past this and focus on the property you are staying at, them you will enjoy your holiday. We would return, but hopefully next time we come to Cyrpus the area will be further developed. It's very quiet there (apart from the noise from building works), due to there being no restuarants or bars. We found one restaurant which was a five minute walk and a supermarket next to it, but that was the only one close by. These others were all in the main town about a 20 - 30 minute walk away.
