When it comes to sporting activities, Golf is always on the list. Spain is brilliantly equipped with golf courses and Valencia is no exception. Other sports include cycling, hiking and horse riding. This gives you a good excuse to get out and experience the Valencian surroundings.
The most famous dish of the region is the delicious rice dish Paella. There are many variations of this dish, but usually it consists of rice, prawns and chicken. You can get them with almost any kind of meat or fish though. A traditional way to have a true Valencian paella, you must have whole prawns, chicken, squid and rabbit. You will also find there are a few regional wines to wash you food down with.
