The Valencians love to party and find excuses all year round. July, August and September are the best times to catch a traditional Fiesta. In March they celebrate Las Fallas, which was developed by the carpenters guild in the 13th century when every useless thing in the workshops was burnt. In April we see the festival of Moors and Christians, where mock battles are performed.
