Aude is an unspoilt area of France, very rural and relaxing, you get to experience the real France and not the tourist traps. Everyone we met was very friendly (although you don't see a lot of people around). The city of Carcassone was really fascinating and a must if you are in the region.



This was our first experience of holidaying in France and we will be making many return visits!

A truly amazing place, diverse, with the snow capped rugged mountains of the pyrennees on one side and beautiful green rolling hills and valleys on the other. Dotted with ancient castles steeped in history dominated by the Cathars. Lively vibrant markets, and sleepy little hamlets where time has stood still. A beautiful unique and magical place for a truly remarkable holiday.

One of the best places that we have stayed in and will be returning again when ever we get the chance to. The area is so beautiful and relaxing and makes the UK seem like a different world. Beautiful little villages, lovely wine and cheese and friendly people. A great place to get awa from all the rushing around we do at home.
