Review by elden from bangkok thailand

my head office is in brighton so i visit regularly from thailand. I enjoy the place so much i bought a flat on the seafront as an investment. Brighton has the sophistication of london in a small town setting that is fun, risque and tolerant. Its the only place in the UK I would ever think of living

Review by Samantha from Godalming

Jamie's Italian Restaurant was excellent so don't believe the snippy bad reviews around the net - Brighton Marina however felt overdeveloped now and even a whiff of the Benidorm about it but lots to do and see there with free parking and the pizza express is excellent there - so worth a visit!

Review by Kelly from Galway

If you have small children but don't want to spend a week denying yourselves any adult pleasures, then Brighton is a good choice. We've twice now rented beautiful flats down near the Pier and the seaside (in spring and winter) and both times enjoyed ourselves by just wandering around the area. The kids love all the seaside attractions and for the adults there are hundreds of funky little shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It's probably a good idea to find a babysitter if you have kids just so you can go exploring without them at some point, but even with two toddlers I found the restaurants and cafes to be welcoming. Now that I live in a rural part of the world, I need to get a cosmpolitan 'fix' without the stress of a really large city (because of the wee ones) and Brighton is perfect. The people are chilled and there is a certain Brighton vibe that is hard not to enjoy.

Review by Kim from Great Kingshill

Brighton is buzzing especially when the weather is great. Hove is just a little bit further out so more chilled and peaceful, but the perfect combination for a break.

Review by Paul from Charlotte, NC

Everything was as it appeared in the listing. Rooms were well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. Location was perfect, close to everything a visitor to England needs - bookies, pubs, supermarket, Indian food, the Pier, Beachfront, a Park, the Lanes, the Pavillion etc. etc. Jo the Mgr. welcomed us on arrival and was there whenever we called but was never intrusive during our stay. Would stay there anytime!
