nerja was more than we expected, we have always kept away from the costas thinking they would all be like benidorm etc, how wrong can you be!! we found a sleepy spanish village with good restauants (one endorsed by gordon ramsey ( LA PARRA). good value for money. If you want a relaxing slighly up market holiday give nerja a try. The only downside we found was that its very hilly and would not suit people with walking difficulties, but there are many taxis and the beach is level and with the beach restarants and bars this did not cause us any problems,there are apartments to rent right on the beach with lovely views and pools, we will definatly visit again and will recommend to our friends and family.
