Review by Margaret from Bagillt, North Wales Cascais is a typical portuguese town, plenty of bars and restaurants as well as historical areas. There are plenty of beaches within close proximity and is also a good base to explore Lisbon and the coastal areas. The town does get quieter from the 1st September and the weather does turn slightly cooler. A good alternative to those bored with the Algarve.
Review by Jackie from Thornton Cleveleys We didn't know what to expect we had always gone to the States or Spain but we were so pleasantly surprised. It was one of the prettiest, relaxing holidays we've had for years. No Yobs, bad language, drunkeness it was how holidays should be. Cascais was everything and more than we could have hoped for. But please take into account we are both pensioners so for us it was perfect.
