Small and not especially interesting. Very quiet out of season. Be prepared to drive to Cadiz or further afield for a bit more of a view of Spanish life and a bit more buzz

Chiclana de la Frontera is a destination is transition from the old rural settigns to a more modern holdiay destination. Very much a resort for the Spanish there is a lesser mix of other European nationalalities.

However its great value for money, golf and water sports nearby are top class. It proabably has the best beaches in Spain by a mile.

When visiting Chiclana de la Fontera you still feel you are experiencing authentic Spain with its unspoilt skylines and Spanish lifestyle and culture. As it is a popular holiday resort for Spanish holiday makers we experienced a varied group of holiday makers which in turn provided varied restaurants and bars.

Chclana had all the amenities you could require along with beautiful beaches and warm locals who were always pleased to see you and assist you if you needed help.

i think the best words to explain Chiclana de la Frontera is unspoilt beautiful and addictive. My family and I which included adults teenagers and children all feel that we only scratched the surface of what Chiclana and its surrounding areas had to offer and we are all excited in anticipation of our return to uncover further gems in this beauiful Spanish resort.
