Review by Noeleen from Southampton, Hampshire. The trene (tram) from Alicante - Denia is great, 2 adults 12 euros all the way (single), great for day trips too as there are loads of little stations all the way down the coast. English was not universally spoken so some Spanish is useful. Driving is easy - but the motorway is a toll road (which we hadn't thought about) it cost around 8 euros from gata des gorgos to Alicante airport on the return journey and took about 2 hours.
