Review by Kerry from Billingham Estepona is not as glamourous as Marbella or Puerto Banus but still offers a nice setting for meals out with the family. During the summer months there are street entertainers and market stalls to browse through in the evenings and the beaches are wide, clean and comfortable. The port is a good area to visit. The town itself is a little run down and there is not much to do here. The area around the Las Nayades complex is very upmarket, with a number of more luxurious apartment complexes, expensive restaurants and 5 star hotels within walking distance. in a car it takes about 10 - 15 mins to get to Marbella which is well worth the visit. Estepona is a lovely place to visit if you want to avoid the typical 'tattoed british tourists' who tend to flock to spain!
Review by Pete from Liversedge The town of Estepona was a lovely small spanish seaside town, with lots of restaurants, bars and cafe's, and beautiful beaches. Its location means that Marbella and Gibralter are only a short drive or bus ride away. It would be an ideal place for a family holiday, that gets away from the hustle and bustle of larger resorts, (although as already stated these larger places are not far away). Also ideal if your plan is to get away from it all. Your never far away from tranquility
Review by Gwen from Orpington Estepona has everything for the English holiday -maker.......sun, sea, great restaurants and a Spanish feel although many of the traders speak some English. There are lots of places to go, either further along the Costa or inland, where things become very Spanish. The scenery is stunning and the weather is usually very good. People are very friendly and it is great value for money.
Review by Joyce from Oxford Estepona is a lovey small town with a nice plaza as well as a well maintained and clean promenade. There is a great children's play park on the promenade. It is more Spanish in flavour than Marbella, and not just a tourist town.
