Review by Rose from Minneapolis We were 8, and our villa was perfect with a fabulous view of the Agean. We had an inside and an outside tables that we could all sit around (lots of card games and family meals), there were plenty of chairs and table around the pool so we had more family timein the sun. The patio was a marvelous place for rousing games of backgammon out of the sun. There was a store within walking distance of our villa where we bought most of our supplies (and met the mayor). The bus took us into Gumusluk for souvenier shopping and a delicious dinner at a restaurant on the corner by the beach. The people were friendly and gracious and very helpful. All this knowing that the historic city of Myndos lurks beneath the shoreline beyond. The main focus of Gumusluk is on the fishing village where there is a high proportion of fish restaurants. However only minutes by car takes you to the more lively resort of Turgutreis with a beach and wide range of bars and restaurants. A peaceful resort within 45 minutes from Bodrum, Gumbet and Bitez. Review by Christine from Italy Gumusluk is a wonderful,unspoilt fishing village on Bodrum peninsula. Great for swimming and snorkeling. The ruins of ancient city of Mindos can still be found under the sea. Lots of pretty restaurants which offer great selection of fish and good value for money.
