Review by Tricia from Reading Indian Point is in a good location for restaurants, Disney World and shopping but far enough away from it to relax in peace and quiet. We felt completely safe and heard hardly any noise from any of the residents at any time. The childrens park and community pool were very clean and well looked after (though we didn't use the pool, having one at the villa).
Review by Wayne from Caerphilly Indian Point is a quiet and neat residential development convenient for all the theme and water parks and a handy WalMart which stocks everything! We always use www.park-tickets.com for park tickets which you pay for in the UK and pick up on the corner of Poinciana Boulevard. Done it twice with never a problem. We hired a Dodge Charger through www.carhire3000.com - that was with Dollar which had a very long queue. The sat-nav (at $164) was useful as all US roads look the same and if you have the sat-nav, the childseat hire is free so it can work out even. Best parks are at Universal, Islands Of Adventure and Magic Kingdom so if you're on a budget, those are the ones to buy. MGM Hollywood Studios has a good stunt show, coaster and Tower of Terror. We also visited Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Seaworld and the new Aquatica water park which was nice but you can burn yourself to a crisp. />Queues were lowest at Universal Islands Of Adventure which in my view is the best park and their child swap system for the rides is far better than Disney. It also has the Dr Seuss rides and is easily the best park for young children and the best mix for adults and children of all ages. Most of the park meals are actually quite good value and though the ice-creams seem expensive, they are enormous - I found The Titanic in mine! Be prepared for the very irritating need to prepay for your petrol - it saves time if you don't fanny round at the pump for half an hour before turning green and roaring loudly. I recommend the nearby Old Town (modelled on a 50's American street theme with great little shops) on 192 West in Kissimmee which has a cruise night every Friday and Saturday night for beautiful old historic and muscle cars and hot rods. If you're not into cars, they have two fun fairs which are ideal for the kids but pop into Wound'n'Around FIRST and ask for a coupon book which offers buy one ride, get one free and it works on a token system. Note that old Town and the adjacent FunSpot are two different venues and the bands don't apply in both. Either way, the kids enjoyed it as much as the parks. Coupon books are also available in the foyer of most walmarts and can save you a load of money if planned and used wisely. ... more
