kapparis is a town where the comminity are very friendly they have time for holiday makers and not just want your money you are treated like a person and not a pound note which you will find in the tourist areas this is why i would holiday here again for 26 years i have been to protaras this year is the first time i have been treated as a person and not a pound note what a difference that makes no waiters hovering ouside getting you to eat in there restaurants here you can have your own choice instead of being pressured its great thanks kapparis see you in 2010

Kapparis is fairly small, with most things situated on or near Kennedy Avenue. There are some good, clean beaches and a couple of excellent restaurants. If you have a car Protaras, Agia Napia and Famagusta are all within easy driving distance with attractions to suit young and old a like. This was my third visit to this part of Cyprus and I will definitely be going back.

Kapparis centre is situated on one main street being Kennedy Avenue. Along the road there are a selection of bars such as The Corner Pin, The Pig and Whistle where a reasonably priced Full English breakfast can be obtained at reasonable cost. Others include The Twilight Bar and The Kennedy Pub. For traditional fayre there are Tony's Restaurant, The Karas Village Taverna and The Faliros Restaurant which all come highly recommended. There is a lot of building work in evidence on the outskirts of this area which is all very tasteful and in keeping with existing properties. Locally there are a number of very clean and comparatively quiet beaches and coves, the larger ones of which have restaurants or cafes/snack bars on or nearby. Just outside the town on the road towards Protaras is the Protaras Aquarium which is worth a visit. For the more adventurous along the same road about a 10 - 20 minute drive away respectively are Pernera and Protaras both of which are considerably larger than Kapparis and have something for everybody. A 30 minute drive for the more party orientated will get you to Agia Napa. ... more

every thing you need is there and a nice beach,but if you want to go out for night life you have to get a taxi.

you do not have to travel to far as protaras as every thing you need for a hoilday and only 10 to 15 minits away.

Kapparis is still untouched and unspoilt from the overcrowding seen in some of the resorts along the nearby coastline. There are numerous beaches and coves to explore and stumble across as you walk along the coastal footpaths looking out to the turquoise sea that somehow look surreal in their semi tropical style setting.
