Review by Keith from Near Scunthorpe Kissimmee is a very busy, town, geared towards all age groups, particularly at the Walt Disney Resorts. The restaurants are varied in their menus, over generous with their portions and very reasonably priced. A family of 6 could eat for $40 to $60 dollars in Dec 08'. Review by Douglas from Glenrothes Kissimmee is located on the outskirts of Orlando. There are numerous restaurants and shops along Highway 192 which is the road leading to Liberty Village from Disney World. There are many more restaurants on International Drive, leading into Orlando. One of our favourites was Bahama Breeze, serving Caribbean style food and wonderful cocktails. There are plenty others to choose from however. Kissimmee is most useful as a base for visiting the numerous attractions in the Orlando area. Disney World is about a fifteen minute drive from Liberty Village, and Universal is slightly further but still within easy reach. The location was perfect - a quiet residential area. All theme parks and attractions were easily accessible. My family enjoyed our vacation and I will definitely book another vacation rental property in Kissimmee!!
