Marbella is back at the top as far as we are concerned. Have been comming here for some time now andd its so good to see that they are putting the money they get from tourism back into the area. The place is well kept clean and what appears to be trouble free. The beaches are well maintained and what a pleasure to see the rubbish taken away every day (something the UK could do with a lesson on).

The Marbella area has it all for families, if you stay central as we did than you ae surrounded by fantastic restaurants, bars and shops and almost all other ammeities. Its safe nobody bothered us and we saw nothing to cause alarm and my children felt safe. It is strange being in the centre of a city that has a holiday feel but that's Marbella.

Marbella had something for everyone, whether you were after culture, shopping or a beach holiday. The locals were really friendly and very accomodating. The restaurants were all nice and clean which is always a favourable factor particularly when dining with young children.

I REALLY LIKE MARBELLA - WE HAVE VISITED THE AREA MANY TIMES. YOU DONT HAVE TO GO FAR TO FIND GOOD RESTAURANTS, A GOOD CLEAN BEACH AND MY WIFE LIKES THE SHOPPING.

Marbella is a perfect resort being fairly upmarket, but having a good range of places to eat, from the Chiringuitas to the expensive Garum restaurant. The beach is clean and beds and shade are provided (at a cost!) A car is not necessary, which personally is a real plus. There aren't many resorts where you can stay in an apartment with pool, only minutes from a beach and a huge choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
