Review by Angela from Gloucester The Oliva Nova complex is a modern Golf Centre in a beautiful setting. It caters for all ages though I would mostly say adults. Two tennis courts were available and the hotel swimming pool is available to non hotel guests..A spa is also on site. We have just got back from a weeks holiday and the complex was very quite.. the local shop on site closes fron 2-5 and so do most of the towns around as this is a mostly spanish area and not your normal tourist 'hang out'. There a plenty of restaurants in the nearby towns which are well worth a visit..Denia, Oliva, Ondorra...here there is a huge shoppong mall with a supermarket open all day...with cinemas and bowling alley etc...only a five minute drive from the complex...(Just in case it rains!)
Review by marian from ireland I stayed in the old town of oliva it had a mixture of old authentic and new it's not a holiday resort but it has a beautifull beach lovely restaurants and i found it great value for the money a little knowledge of the language may help but i managed without
Review by Liz from Gloucester The town of Oliva is historical and crowded. The Oliva Golf Resort is just a few miles down the coast and is a lovely place to stay. Not only is it a great base for seeing the sites: Safari park, mountains, nearby towns - you could even take a short break to Ibiza from nearby Denia Town - but the resort is also a safe, family friendly place to stay too. The sandy beach stretches for miles and is far superior to the Costa Blanca beaches and the mountain range frames the area forming a dramatic backdrop.
Review by Darryl from Villamartin Oliva is a small sleepy town with not a lot going on however Denia which is 20 minutes drive away is a lot more livelier with some good shops, bars and restaurants.
Review by Elaine from Bristol This only has a handful of restaurants is not the place to go if you want a huge amount of choice on tap. It is great for a family or couples holiday, no nightclubs etc. A car is recommended as buses can be a bit unreliable. Would have liked more info left in the apartment - eg Bus Times to neighbouring towns, exact directions to nearest beach, what time most restaurants close, what's open and what's not locally on a Sunday.
