Palm-Mar was everything we could have wished for, there were lovelly walks in conservation area but it wouldn't be suitable for people who want to be on a bus route. There was a very good supermarket with excellent butchery department. Several small restaurants with excellent food. The only drawback we found was dogs being allowed to foul the footpaths, otherwise a wonderful place to relax and recharge your batteries.

für Unterkunft suchende, die Teneriffa erkunden wollen,

Auto ist effektiver als Bus,

um aufregende Abende oder mehr als normalöes Essen muß man in die Zentren,

Kontakt zu Einheimischen( meistens Engländer, Deutsche) findet preiswert in den Restaurationen,



Ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat uns das Restaurant Mirador La Centinela. Es war aber leider schlecht besucht.



Wanderwege sind top ausgeschildert aber z.T. neuer und anders als in einschlägigen Reiseführern beschrieben.

Insbesondere führt zu den Paisaje Lunar von Vilaflor ein neuer Weg. Die geschilderte Schotterstrasse, oberhalb von Vilaflor abzweigend, die man mit dem Auto als Anfahrt nutzen können soll,ist nur für Berechtigte und Anwohner freigegeben.

Palm Mar is a relaxing area with some of the best restaraunts I have ever been to, it has several relaxing bars in the area, supermarkets and a commercial centre due to be completed shortly. Although the beach is rocky with some sand it is ideal if you just want to get away from the more lively neighbouring resorts of las Americas and los Christianos, which are just a short taxi drive away. I found Palm Mar a very up and comming area with rental prices very good value for money at the moment, so book now whilst you still can.
