Review by carolyn from glasgow we are moving permanently to peyia in july2009 as we are having an apt built there so we are very excited about moving ther and having visited other places on the island we are now glad that we chose peyia over any other place for its beauty and unspoilt areas.
Review by sarah from Brentwood Some really nice resturants and bars, so no need to go into town if you fancy staying local. Peyia Tavern provides an authentic Meze at a reasonable price. Two good supermarkets providing both Greek and british food. Can see why so many Brits have purchased propery there.
Review by Jean from Rochdale Although we have visited Peyia many times in the past we have found wheelchair access restricted in the bars/restaurants in the village. But plenty to visit around the area.
Review by Judith from Sandy Peyia is a quiet village with friendly inhabitants. In conjuntion with a suitable villa it has all the facilities you could need for a relaxing holiday in the sun. There are a couple of supermarkets - the most popular of which seems to be Phillipos, which is open until 9pm each day that has all that you could possibly need. There are plenty of restaurants offering both typically Cypriot and also more international cuisine. It's a bit of a hilly and widespread village so I would recommend having a hire car for getting about if your accommodation isn't quite close to the village centre. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a lovely setting with some beautiful views then you can't go wrong in Peyia.
Review by Richard from Wirral My partner and I stayed at Villa Paros for 2 weeks in May '08 with another couple, and had a wonderful time. />
