Review by Lesley from Northampton Pissouri is a large, relatively unspoilt, Cypriot hill-top village with amazing views north to the Troodos Mountains, south to the sea just 5km down the valley and east to Limassol. It has all the facilities that you need including banks, a theatre, gym, small supermarket and a number of bars and restaurants. The beach at Pissouri bay, backed by bushes of bright yellow mimosa, is idyllic with crystal clear water and clean sand and pebbles.
Review by member from Dunfermline A quaint village retaining its Cypriot identity with friendly residents, probably better suited to the over 30's than the under 30's, yet there is something for everyone. You just get the feeling you'd love it to remain as is, and not develop into a busy commercial lager lout resort. That would be such a shame.
Review by Sonya from Saffron Walden Pissouri is a growing resort near the beach, with old Pissouri a 5 min drive up the mountain to a lovely old villiage, still steeped in tradition. The contrast adds to a very enjoyable experience, giving a good choice of bars and restaurants. The hotels on the beach are very accommodating, allowing us to hire the tennis courts and use their facilities, very friendly. A lovely place, with wonderful weather!
