Review by member from Barry south wales we went in early season, looking for a quiete break, just to relax and enjoy each others company so i ,m not really able to comment on area as we stayed maily on rooftop.
Review by Sharon from Burnley Playa flamenca is brilliant we have been going now for about 5 years, is very much family orientated. Planty of restaurants chinese, indian, hungarian, english, italian Some restaurants we recommend are Barbella, Chinese next to Celtic Drop, McNeils and for fish and chips spud murphys. These are all in the square which is always clean and is safe for the kids to run round freely not having to worry about traffic. Plenty of entertainment from karaoke to bands and singers. Beaches are within walking distance and very clean, all have beach shacks where you can buy a refreshing drink or snacks. A new promenade has just been built and some renovations are still on going. If you like water sports La Zenia Beach is suitable which is a short drive away or a short walk round the coast if you are feeling energetic. Plenty of supermarkets to go at we found that Mercadonna was overall the best. Supercor is probably the closest which has burger king that as recently opened nearby.
For a little shopping the Saturday Market is a must close to the Mercadonna which sells everything from fruit and veg, shoes, belts clothes everything you can think of and dont forget to barter.
Hope this gives you abit of insight into want we experienced in playa flamenca and enjoy yours hols as we always do. ... more

Review by Rob from Tyne Wear uk Playa Flamenca is central to all area,s. A car would be helpful, but not a must. There are buses and taxis to were ever you want to go. People are very friendly, most speak English. A good choice of resraunts, cheap and cheerful or more upmarket.
Review by Hazel from London Playa Flamenca had everything you could need; shops, supermarkets, restaurants. We had a car, but if you didn't you had plenty of restaurants in walking distance.
