Costa del Sol is very densely developed with shopping malls, hotels, apartment buildings everywhere you look. It's a bit depressing to see how this fabulous coast has been overrun by developers to cater to tourists. But if you are looking for warmer weather around the pool, this might be it for you.

We went in March and it was very quiet. Some of the restaurants were not open and those that were were not at all busy. It was quite convenient for the several golf courses in the area but you needed a car.We were disappointed in the beach as it was shingle.
