Review by I from Trondheim Hinterthal appeared to be an upscale village - with several hotels, restaurants and luxurious houses/apartments. However, it appears very idyllic and we found it to be a perfect location to explore the various skiing opportunities. We drove to different ski resorts, and there are several to choose from that are all within an hour drive. The people are very friendly, and the service level we met was flawless. Would absolutely go back to Hinterthal. I would definitively recommend it for couples who are looking for a nice place to go on vacation. It is probably not the ideal place if you're looking for partying and clubbing.
