Tochni is a lovely, friendly village. It is very small and quiet, so you need a car to make the most of the area. There are two tavernas - we much preferred Nostos to the Tochni Tavern, which is picturesque but has far less atmosphere. There are more places to eat in Zygi, which is a five minute drive. To get to the beach is a 15 minute drive. We would recommend it (but only to those who really want to get away from it all!).

Tochni is a quiet,authentic Cypriot village with several narrow streets winding down the hill to the central square.

Here opposite the church,with its rich interior, is the well stocked general store and close by the small taverna with friendly staff and excellent food.
