Review by Elaine from Leicester We found Yalikavak a very friendly town. It was quite quiet as we there out of season but the bustling market was really interesting. Some of the restaurants were still closed but those open were fantastic and good value. Yalikavak caters for tourists but does not have big hotels and is not full of loud bars and English pubs. Perfect!
Review by member from Devon Yalikavak is a lovely, small and friendly town with wonderful restaurants and a quiet, sandy beach. It offers a good mix of quality restaurants for holidaymakers whilst still retaining its orginal Turkish charm. Ideal for a quieter, more upmarket holiday. The new marina and shops have the potential of making Yalikvak a very exclusive place to stay.
Review by member from Horwich Yalikavak is a fabulous place for a family holiday, especially for parents with younger kids. The town is lively enough without being over run and noisy. There are loads of restaurants, with a choice of a different one each night if required with still many not visited! It's also close enough to livlier places such as Bodrum, with good bus services, if required. To sum up; a fabulous place in a lovely country.
Review by member from London The town is small and friendly and still relatively authentic, you can see the Turkish families going about their everyday business. Some over anglicised restaurant menus, but mostly the food was lovely. Beaches are not that white fluffy sand, but plenty of places to lounge about and the nature reserve of Kudur is beautiful.
Review by Gillian from West Molesey.Surrey We loved this little town. There was lots to do both day and night and the children were delighted with trampoline and little rides along the seafront. The Marina is a must with its smart restaurants and Art shops and there is a really good market all day on a Thursdays. We booked a boat trip, which was really good value. It left Yalikavak at 11am and returned at 5pm.We had a very good lunch, fresh fruit, and afternoon tea,on board and there were several stops for swimming in the sea,all for under £25.pp
