Review by Simon from London Zahora is a largely unspoilt village free from the hotels and egg and chip pubs that dominate most of the Spanish coastline. The locals travel around using a variety of transportation from cars to horses, bicycles to quad bikes as public transport is rare. The beaches however are stunning and windswept, the sunsets are magnificent and the odd electrical storm frightening, yet strangely captivating. If you like animals you'll feel right at home here as there is a menagerie on every doorstep and much like the locals they are generally pretty friendly.
Review by Geoff from Southsea A nice quiet unspoilt area, hope it doesn't go the way of the costa del sol! Loads of lovely, clean, sandy beaches. Vejer de la frontera is a pretty town although we chose the wrong time to visit as it was mostly closed for the siesta!
Review by Lucy from London Zahora is a quiet, unspolit part of the Costa de la Luz. In the town itself there is very little, a few restaurants, a couple of supermarkets but more importantly two beautiful deserted sandy beaches. It is also on a road which connects you to the rest of this beautiful part of the world so a 10/15 min drive or even a 45 min drive can also take you to some of the most beautiful towns and beaches i have ever seen in Europe! I would definitely recommend.
Review by Pat from Glasgow The village of Canos de la Meca was wonderful. We stayed in a hotel for two days as we wanted to see the area but we would never book anything like this again.
