Situated on the Mediterranean coast with its many sandy beaches, beautiful scenery, secluded coves and fascinating ancient ruins the villa was completed on 1st June 2007.

The villa has been tastefully designed, is furnished to a very high standard and is unique in its own way giving that homely feel and has the added bonus of a private pool and air conditioning throughout.

The villa is located in Ovacik below Babadag mountain which benefits from a cool summer breeze and is also popular with paragliders. Ovacik is situated between the harbour town of Fethiye Hisaronu, a lively resort with an abundance of restaurants and bars and Olu Deniz, famous for its fabulous beach and much photographed lagoon.

Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu Deniz are only a short dolmus ride away.

Ovacik is located 55km from Dalaman airport which is serviced by all the main tour operators and many others. Transfer time between Dalaman and Ovacik is approximately 45-50 minutes.


 

Accommodation is arranged over four floors.

On the lower ground floor there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with their own ensuite, air conditioning, wardrobes, bedside cabinets, lamps and full length mirror. The double room also has a safe.

The ground floor comprises the lounge, kitchen and wc with wash basin. The lounge has an open fire, TV, DVD player and Playstation 2 with a selection of DVDs and games, air conditioning and patio doors leading to the terrace overlooking the pool. The kitchen comprises a fridge, cooker with hob and hood, washing machine, dishwasher, sink and plenty of cupboard space. There is also an iron and ironing board.

On the first floor there are a further two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with their own ensuite (jacuzzi bath and full length mirror in double) air conditioning and wardrobes. The twin room also has a safe. Both these rooms also benefit from having a large balcony.

The second floor (attic room) comprises a double bed, sofa bed, built in wardrobes, bedside cabinet with lamp, full length mirror, chest of drawers and a safe. This room also benefits from its own ensuite bathroom and private balcony.

All windows benefit from having mosquito nets. 

Ovacik is located between Olu Deniz, Hisaronu and Fethiye. Ovacik is a village spread out in a beautiful valley just below Babadag mountain. It is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday and long country walks. The clean air and warm breezes add to the beautiful landscape overlooking the valley.

Fethiye is a region of indescribable beauty. There are many natural features that combine to give Fethiye such a special appeal. Fethiye provides the perfect base for exploring the beautiful nature and historic sites. Fethiye lies on a semicircular bay protected by twelve islands and has its own port and harbour.

Hisaronu is a charming hill resort and in recent years has become very popular with its many restaurants and bars making it a very family orientated resort. Its location makes it an ideal spot for walkers where you can visit the nearby deserted village of Kayakoy and take in some history from the ancient ruins. There are also secluded coves and bays which can be reached by winding forest paths.

This area is known as the turquoise coast due to its crystal clear waters and the tranquil waters of the blue lagoon. Olu Deniz is one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey and it is famous for paragliders from all over the world who parasend from the summit of Babadag mountain. Water sports and boat trips are very popular. There are also many shops, restaurants and bars to visit.

There are many beautiful places to explore in Turkey and many exciting excursions and activities that can be enjoyed by all ages. All of the excursions and activities can be arranged locally, and some of the most popular ones are:

The traditional Turkish markets in Hisaronu (Mondays) and Fethiye (Tuesdays).

Six and twelve island cruises from Fethiye harbour or Olu Deniz beach.

Water sports at Olu Deniz beach including water skiiing, rings and banana.

Dalyan and turtle beach.

The gorge at Saklikent and white water rafting.

The mud baths.

Horse riding, paragliding, microlights, scuba diving and many more. 

The villa will be fully cleaned before your stay and the washing machine can be used to wash sheets/towels during your stay if required.

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 2 twin, 5 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 3 double sofa beds located in the Lounge & attic bedroom. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 5 bathrooms and 6 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Joanne says: "The villa is trully spectacular, in an ideal location, maintained to an excellent standard and extremely well equipped with all you need for the duration of your holiday. There is more than ample space for all in the property and all family members having their own private bathroom was bliss!! no queuing for showers to get ready to go out! Quiet evenings with a family barbecue and eating out on the terrace was fantastic. The transfers to and from the airport were well organised, the company that the owner uses ( Tiny Akropoli)was very professional, we booked all our excursions with them, boat trips, day to Rhodes and paragliding!! would recommend contacting Yavuz to arrange any activities you would like. Hussein ( who looks after the pool) brought us fresh bread daily, was extremely helpful, recommended restaurants etc, please go to he and his fiances place Yengec, a wonderful restaurant, he collected an returned us to the villa during our stay. There were 7 in our family, we had a wonderful holiday, would highly recommend staying at this property and would definitely book to stay here again in the future. "
