Villa Bahce (Turkish for "Garden Villa") is located in a small exclusive development on the hills near the village of Gundogan on the Bodrum Peninsula overlooking the intersection of the Aegean & Mediterranean Seas. Villa Bahce (pronounced as "Bah-chae" in Turkish) is a brand-new villa just completed in August 2006. Villa Bahce can comfortably accommodate up to 7 adults. This villa has two bedrooms and two day beds, a separate kitchen, two full bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs), mosquito nets on all windows, wood-burning fire place, new washing machine, and a fully-equipped kitchen with new dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Stairs from the villa lead directly up to the swimming pool, overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Villa Bahce Villa Bahce offers superb outdoor living space. French doors in the living room open up to a Mediterranean style courtyard garden. Perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee relaxing in comfortable wicker furniture. If you don't feel like sitting around the pool, two comfortable sun loungers are perfect to lay back, read a book, and laze the day away. At this location, there is a small pool and play area for children, and a large pool for adults.

The den area has a daybed with trundle that allows for two people to sleep comfortably. In addition to this, a single daybed is provided in a common area on the top floor. Perfect for relaxing with a good book while having the option to sleep one extra person. The villa is tastefully furnished and comfortably equipped. Villa Bahce has two TVs with built-in DVD/CD player with hundreds of satellite channels from around the world: one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom upstairs.

 

The unique design of Villa Bahce's arched roof and ottoman window box styling is only the beginning. The interior was designed with careful attention to detail and luxury. This villa is more than you would expect from a rental property. Highlights include: luxurious travertine stone in the bathrooms, custom designed furniture throughout the house, comfortable lighting, large kitchen with breakfast table, and a hand cut travertine stone wood-burning fireplace.

The Turkish clay pots and colorful plants create perfect courtyard garden. This villa was designed with the intent of blending indoors and outdoors for the discerning traveler who loves the comfort of a garden and the beauty of the sea.

Villa Bahce is the closest villa to the pool in this development. Villa Bahce's garden has its own private steps that lead directly to the pool. This is perfect for those who love to lounge the day away by the pool. From the villa, you can easily bring your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy the sun with your friends and family. With the steep hills of Gundogan, this is a definite advantage. In addition to the primary pool, there is a small children's pool and play area.

The intellectual climate of Bodrum is shaped by tourists and people living on the Bodrum peninsula from countries such as England, Ireland, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, and even the USA. The villa is within 20 minutes from the city of Bodrum, which allows for many entertainment opportunities (Turkish Blue Cruise Voyages, Greek Island Excursions, Historic sites, Nature Adventures, and excellent Night Life activities). Bodrum is well-recognized for its artistic heritage, and is therefore an open-minded community. Nightlife in Bodrum offers restaurants, bars, and clubs for all life styles.

Area Information:

Hiring a car is the easiest way to get around, but you can manage without one. If you're staying for a few weeks you may like to save some money and shed the car for some of the time and use the local dolmus, or mini-bus service, which operates cheaply and efficiently throughout the peninsula. Yellow taxis are good for short journeys but can add up a bit on longer ones. Many people hitch around the area and it is not uncommon for lifts to be offered by drivers who are going the same way as you.

In Ortakent (half-way between Gundogan and Bodrum) there is a large water park. It is opposite the KIPA hypermarket which is part of the Tesco chain and sells many well known Tesco products as well as local and international brands. Gumbet and Bodrum are only 20-30 minutes away for those want the busy night life and bustling resorts.

Also look out for the markets, typically the Turgutreis one on Saturdays. Yalikavak is usually on Thurdays and Gundogan on Wednesdays. There are no fixed prices so don't forget to haggle.

 

1) Regular check-in time is after 16:00 (4:00pm) and check-out time is before 10:00am. We will accommodate your flight schedule to the best we can based on availability.

2) Our villas are rented on weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. Other days can be considered in low season.

3) Rates include Electric, Water and Gas, and a welcome basket.

4) Rates include change of linens, sheets, and towels for rentals of 2 weeks and more

5) Rates include all applicable Turkish Sales Tax (VAT) for Villa Bahce.

6) Should you choose to bring a pet, a non-refundable charge of 50 GBP per week will be added.

7) For bookings less than 7 days, a charge of 45 GBP will be added for cleaning and laundry services.
 

Beautiful full mountain and full sea views. FREE Welcome Package / Basket for every booking. Smoking is allowed outside the villa premises, including dining terrace and sundeck. All Pets are welcome with prior arrangements. International Prepaid Calling Cards can be purchased through this booking. All calls from Turkey to USA, UK, France, and the rest of Europe is only 0.0745 GBP (0.149 USD or 0.11 Euro) per minute. Please choose any amount in increments of 5 GBP (approx. $10). 5 GBP will provide approx. 65 minutes of talk to landlines.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double. The property also has 3 single sofa beds located in the Living Room and Upstairs Hall. This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Please make prior arrangements with the owner. There is a non-refundable compulsory charge of 50 GBP per pet per week. 

Not suitable for wheelchairs 

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared west facing swimming pool, a north facing garden, a summer house, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, wind surfing, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, climbing, horse riding, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find flying, tennis, historic sites, a museum.

There is an Aqua Water park within 15 to 20 mins by driving

We would like to share some of our thoughts about your villa. Vila Bache is a wonderful place to rest from mad working days at work and bad mood! It is a really pleasant place located near the Turkish village of Gundogan, that has plenty of restaurants, beaches and pensions. One could taste a fresh-caught fish prepared by local cookers and enjoy a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. We visited a lot of historical places, and Ephesus was the most interest place we visited. All these ruins are very impressive and worth to see them. We have made friends with a lot of interesting people, including of course, Kathy and even your next door neigbor Peter Forsythe who is a very nice young musician. We regret that we had no possibility to meet you personnaly, and we hope sometime we will make up for lost time. We would like to thank you for the assistance you provided - especially as for car rental as the company you recommended is a best rental service provider in our opinion.
