This beautiful 4 bedroom holiday home, which is situated in the lovely residential area of Long Beach, Kusadasi is within a short distance of the town centre that is affluent with shops, markets, restaurants, bars and nightclubs and home to an International Cruise Ship Port. The villa can accommodate up to 8 persons (plus a cot provided) and is ideal for those that want a quieter retreat from the many lively attractions in the area.

Shelsam Villa is a 3 storey property that has access to a shared half olympic size swimming pool and toddlers pool and we have provided sunbeds for your use. It has a surrounding covered terrace area that provides a cool and refreshing shade to escape the heat of the hot Turkish sun throughout the day. This is where most of the locals use as their eating space and we have therefore provided suitable table and chairs.

The upper levels have 3 balconies that provide sun at different times of the day, should you wish to sunbathe more privately. The ground floor consists of an open plan modern lounge and kitchen area, which includes the following facilities -

The first floor provides a double bedroom and single bedroom. The second floor provides the main bedroom including 1 double bed and 1 single bed and the final bedroom including a single bed that can convert to a double bed. Each bedroom is furnished with wardrobes, bedside cabinets with lamps and dressing tables as appropriate. We have equipped the two main rooms with air conditioning and also provided 2 portable fans. Each floor accommodates a toilet and spacious shower, of which, one includes a washing machine and clothes rack.

Bed linen and towels for shower use are included, however you will need to bring your own towels for beach and pool use. There is also a travel cot and a hairdryer. Two adults bikes and 1 childs bike have been provided for you to explore the local area.

• House Of Virgin Mary, The belief that the Virgin Mary spent her last days here.
• Priene, Miletus & Didyma, Historic sights dating back to 2000 years BC.
• Temple Of Artemis, Also one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
• Adaland, Aqua Fantasy And Aqualand, Fun water parks with the first two being the largest in Europe.
• Pamukkale, An unusual natural and historic site being one of the most important highlights of Turkey, as unique in the world.
• Pigeon Island, The Island was used for military purposes during the Ottoman Era, as the location was strategic for securing the shores or preventing the attacks from sea.
• National Park, The ideal place to escape from town fuss and noise, 30km South of Kusadasi and is only 1-2 km from the Greek island Samos.

The local bus, known as a dolmus can be caught from the Club Mersin Beach Hotel which is a five minute walk from the villa and this will take you into town, where you can pick up connecting dolmus to other areas. There are also some smaller shops, great for fresh bread, milk, cheese, etc. within very close proximity and a supermarket for your groceries, along with a market to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, designer clothing and household necessities, all within a ten minute walk. As the villa is within a residential location you will also catch the odd local trader providing a service for the area selling large bottled water, giant fresh water melons and other fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the day.

The wonderful 22km long golden sand beach known as Long Beach is within a short distance of approximately 700 meters from the villa, walking beside the Club Mersin Beach Hotel, being the quickest route. The beach is divided (not physically) into sections such as Silver Beach, Paradise Beach and Love Beach and you can find watersports, volleyball, sunbed hire, a cycling path and walking path and at dusk you can usually watch a beautiful big orange sun descend slowly beyond the horizon leaving behind a lovely red sky.
 

The nearest airport is Izmir Airport but Bodrum is also relatively close. Transfer times by car from Izmir and Bodrum are approximately 50 minutes and 80 minutes respectively.

When you arrive at the airport in Turkey, there are always taxis available or we can arrange a transfer for you with an extra cost. The other option would be to rent a car and there are many car rental companies at the airports.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema.
