Sun Villa is the ideal setting for a great family holiday.

Its spacious accommodation is fully air-conditioned. Downstairs is a large open plan living area with satellite TV and DVD/CD player. One of the 3 full bathrooms is also downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, stove and dishwasher.

Up the marble stairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 with balconies overlooking the pool and bay, and 2 further bathrooms, 1 ensuite and 1 with washing machine.

Outside there is a lovely covered terrace with a teak table and chairs, perfect for eating, relaxing and enjoying the wonderful sea views. The villa has a pretty private garden with a bbq, parking, and a range of bougainvillea, oleander and hibiscus plants plus a banana tree. The garden overlooks the large swimming pool which is shared with the other 9 houses on this peaceful little complex built in an ancient olive grove.

All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. There are sunloungers for use in the garden or by the pool.  

Beaches, restaurants and shops are a short stroll, so a car is not essential.

The sea is 200m away, with a handful of pretty local restaurants right on the water’s edge with jetties for sunbathing and dining.

A 15 min stroll around the bay brings you to the heart of the fishing village of Gundogan. The village has a wide range of waterside restaurants, 2 beaches, a harbour, and supermarket.

On the bay you can enjoy a wide variety of watersports including wind surfing, dinghy sailing, diving, pedalloes, fishing, swimming, snorkelling and daily boat trips. The surrounding mountains offer walking and horse riding. There is a new golf course 15 mins drive away.

The village is on the north shore of the Bodrum peninsula on Turkey’s beautiful Aegean coast. The airport is only a 35 min drive away.  

A car is recommended to explore the many pretty fishing villages and beaches in the area, and to visit Bodrum with its crusader castle, Roman amphitheatre, waterpark and marina. There are daily ferries for a day trip to the Greek Island of Kos.

There are many ancient sites to visit including the Tomb of Mausolus in Bodrum and the Roman city of Ephesus, two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At the end of the penninsula is the lovely little village of Gumusluk with sunken pre-Roman remains to snorkle around.

Gundogan has a weekly food and clothes market but it's also fun to visit the other markets around the area including large ones in Bodrum and Turgetreis. 

All 3 bedrooms have custom made pine furniture with lots of drawer and hanging space in the wardrobes and chests of drawers. They are decorated in cream and blue with polished wooden floors and full air-conditioning and anti-mosquito machines. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. The windows and balcony doors all have fitted mosquito screens. The front 2 bedrooms have beautiful views of the bay, the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. All three bathrooms have white fittings and tiles with blue detailing. The water heater provides plenty of hot water for baths and showers (and for the washing machine). We have equipped the villa as our own home and have chosen all the fittings, furniture, curtains, appliances and equipment personally. The gardens are lovingly tended all year round by Hussein our gardener and handyman. The lawn is kept green with buried sprinklers, and the bougainvillea climbs over the terrace.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing garden, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, walking, a restaurant.

Close to the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find flying, a museum.

Dinghy and pedalloe rentals are close by. Daily boat trips. A new golf course is 15 mins drive away.
