Pigeon Island Beach:
A nice private beach with great views of Kusadasi centre situated on the actual shore of the island. Great for keen swimmers due to the deep waters. Also handy for grabbing a drink and a bite to eat.

Ladies Beach:
This is a very popular beach which does get busy at times. However its a great place for cheap meals, drinks and watersports.

Kustur Beach:
This area offers a variety of activities like water skiing, parasailing, and surfing.

Yilanciburnu:
A very quiet beach located on the peninsula behind Pigeon Island.

Tusan Beach:
Here you will discover an unlimited choice of beach and water activities.

Love Beach:
Again an excellent choice of water activities in a relaxing environment.

If you are into history then Kusadasi iteslf will not disapoint you.

In the center of Kusadasi you will discover The Fortress Mosque, which was built by the vizier Okuz Mehmet Pasa during the 17th century. Is hold a a capacity for 550 people and the entry is decorated with mother of pearl. The stained glass and Ionic columns shows the craftsmanship of the Ottoman Empire. Throughout the week in summer they do a great fun packed, family welcome Turkish Night, a must do event.


Other Historical Sites Close By.......

As said previously Kusadasi is the mecca for Historic sites.

Close by you will find the House of Virgin Mary where it is recorded in history that St John brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus shortly after the death of Christ. Here she spent her last days in a small house called Meryemana Evi which was built for her on Mt Nightingale. It is now a popular place of pilgrimage for Christians and Muslims alike. The house has received the official sanction by the Vatican and Christians observe a commemoration ceremony on 15th August every year.

Also close by is the world famous Efes or Ephesus. Here was once the commercial center of the ancient world. The city itself was built in dedication to the Goddess Artemis and her temple was once one of the Seven Wonders of the World but was later destroyed by Alexander the Great. Ephesus was also the home of the Greek natural philosopher Heraclitus. The Ephesus International Festival is held here annually during the month of May.
