Killara Villa is divided into four individual cottages set in the beautiful garden by the pool. Each cottage has one double and one twin bedroom sharing the main bathroom plus an attic with two single beds and a basin. There is another showerroom on the ground floor. Downstairs the kitchen and sitting room open onto a private terrace with access to the pool and garden. All the bedrooms have airconditioning.  

The villa is 15 minutes walk down quiet country lanes to the delightful riverside town of Dalyan. It is an area of stunning natural beauty - rivers, lake and sea surrounded by mountains and pine forests, now protected from excess development as a conservation area. No large hotels can be built and building is prohibited near the beach in order to protect the endangered loggerhead turtle which nests here. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy this unspoilt corner of the justly famous Turquoise coast. Take a boat downriver to Turtle Beach or wallow in the hot mud on Koycegiz Lake. You can also sample the excellent selection of very reasonably priced restaurants in this friendly little market town and visit the inviting little bars lining the riverbank.

 

Car hire is not necessary as so many attractions are on your doorstep but can be arranged for a few days during your visit for you to explore off the beaten track. For the energetic, the dramatic ruins of ancient Kaunos are just across the river and it is possible to plan a visit to other major sites including Ephesus and Xanthus. You could book a mini-cruise by gulet around the coast, or we can arrange car and bicycle hire. There is a wide range of local activities such as white-water rafting, horse riding, boat trips, scuba diving, snorkelling and sailing. The local manager, Dondu, can help you organise any of these.
 

These individually designed villas use space very cleverly and the attic rooms are very spacious but with reduced head height in places and accessed by a naval type loft ladder. Great for the young and sprightly!
