Situated in a quiet area close to many magnificent ‘Blue Flag’ beaches and the resort centre of Cesme, Aegean Apartment is ideal for a relaxing holiday well away from the hustle and bustle of the 21st Century.

The apartment is situated close to the fishing village of Ciftlikkoy which, thankfully remains uncommercialised, with just a few ‘corner shops’, a bakery, several excellent family-run restaurants and two small beaches. You can often enjoy a glimpse of village life with donkeys passing by, sheep and goats grazing in the field and occasionally the farmer ploughing the field by horse power!

The resort centre of Cesme, just a couple of miles away, is the main tourist town of the region but still rather reserved. There are a good variety of bars and restaurants and the main street offers endless shopping opportunities.

Cesme's Castle dominating the town is well worth a visit and a stroll through the maze of streets behind will give you a glimpse of Turkish life hardly changed in decades. The town square close to the colourful harbour is a great place to enjoy a cool drink and watch the world go by.

The weekly markets at Ciftlikkoy, Cesme, Alacati and Ilica have an exciting local atmosphere.

Car Hire is not essential, but recommended if you want to visit the many places of interest not too far away. Route Plans are available to help you explore the Cesme Peninsula and beyond.
 

Aegean Apartment (on the ground floor) is one of two well appointed, spacious and self-contained apartments in Aegean Sunset private detached villa.

There is one double bedroom with king size bed, air conditioning and balcony plus two twin bedrooms (both could take 3rd bed), one with terrace and both with efficient ceiling fan.

A spacious fully furnished lounge, with bed-settee, leads to the dining room with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, Ciftlik village and across the sea to Chios. There is also a covered terrace with patio table and chairs for ‘al fresco’ meals.

The fully equipped kitchen has a full size cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle and toaster.

There is a family sized bathroom with shower cubicle, wash basin, WC and automatic washing machine plus a separate cloakroom with WC and wash basin.

Bed linen is changed weekly; bath and hand towels twice weekly. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. A UK manufactured cot is available for our younger guests. The apartment is fitted with a safety deposit box, smoke alarm and fire extinguisher. There is a DVD player, CD player, a good selection of books, a hairdryer and iron/ironing board.

A welcome pack containing some basic items such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar and fresh drinking water will be provided on arrival. Further supplies of fresh water are available at the villa. For those arriving at the apartment after 8 p.m., Turkish Breakfast items will also be provided.  

Being at the tip of a peninsula, we are almost surrounded by more than a dozen magnificent beaches, all ‘Blue Flag’ status and offering golden sands, shelving gently into the crystal clear waters - ideal and safe for children. Many parts of the sea are even heated naturally by hot springs. We have miles of coastline to suit all tastes – from popular beaches with full facilities, including water sport centres, to almost deserted coves.

The spectacular sands of 'Golden Beach', Pirlanta Kitesurf Beach and other superb beaches can be easily reached by car or by the very economical Dolmus, the shared minibus service from the village.

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
