Although Akyaka has grown in recent years, it remains a picturesque village. There are no high-rise hotels - any construction has adhered strictly to the traditional architectural style of the region. Numerous wooden balconies, intricately arranged pan-tiled roofs and delicately carved fretwork shutters give the houses that tumble down the hillside towards the beach their distinctive appeal.
The atmosphere, too, remains very Turkish. There are several small grocery shops, supermarkets and a Wednesday Market, ther are also a large amount of restaurants to choose from. The Palm Tree lined sandy beach shelves very gently into the sea, making it ideal for young children. Akyaka is surrounded by forestry commission land on one side and by a conservation area on the other, thus offering superb opportunities for exploring. There is also the remarkably untouched shingle beach at Cinar which is a 50-minute walk away. 

Akyaka/Gokova is the jewel in the Crown of Turkey, and one of the most beautiful un-spoilt coastal resorts you will ever find. The good news is that the Turkish Authorities are keeping it this way, as Akyaka is a conservation area. 

There is Also a Spacious Bodrum to this property, which is cool at all times and incorporates a Double Bed, Single Bed and a fold away single bed, wardrobes, side Tables and lamps. Outside on the balcony there is also a Dining Table and seating for 6 people with more chairs supplied to accomodate more seating.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the Bodrum but are an Single Bed and a Fold away Single Bed, 1 double sofa bed located in the Bodrum but is a Double Bed in the Bodrum Living Area. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
