The Villa is situated ,in the centre of Akyaka Village and is a 10 minute walk to the Beach, shops and restaurants which is situated at the bottom of Akyaka and a 5 minute walk to the top for other shops and restaurants.
It has superb views of the village, sea and mountains from the top balconies.

This Villa has 3 Double bedrooms . Open plan style lounge/diner and newly fitted Kitchen kitchen.There is one bathroom with shower and a Wc on the ground Floor

All the rooms are furnished and equipped to a Basic Standard. All the main rooms have Fans.

The 2 main Bedrooms have low walls on the balconies so not recomended for children.
Although this has 3 Double Bedrooms with Double beds allowing 3 Couples but would be more comfortable for just 4 people.


 

The village of Akyaka, near the town of Marmaris is in the province of Muðla. Situated at the foot of the Sakar hills , which rise 670 metres above the crystal clear blue Aegean waters at the bay of Gökova.

This is a designated conservation area. Buildings are of the traditional Ula/Muðla design, with elegant tiled roofs, and intricate wooden carvings on the ceilings and balconies. Akyaka is an authentic Turkish village with a farming and fishing history, and excellent cuisine.

Akyaka has its own wonderful sandy beach and small harbour where you can buy freshly caught seafood from the fisherman. From the harbour you have a number of boats offering trips to local attractions such as Cleopatra Island.

The village is very pretty especially with the abundance and perfumes of colorful flowers. It is said that because of the springs and many eucalyptus trees in and around Akyaka it makes a very therapeutic atmosphere. The village has numerous food shops and a village bakery. A permanent fruit and vegetable market ensures you have the best choice of locally grown fruit. There is an excellent choice of restaurants ranging from specialist kebab makers and family run restaurants to the slightly more sophisticated riverside restaurants (10 minutes walk away) where fresh water trout is offered alongside a selection of delicious bream, bass and mullet.

Situated on the beach are a number of excellent restaurants. Sailing, Windsurfing and Cannoing are all available at Yucelen Sports also set on the beach front. At the end of Akyaka Beach is a small national park, with more bathing areas and lovely walks along the cliff tops.

At Cinar, a few kilometres away from Akyaka there is a beautiful pebble Beach. There is a cold river running through to the sea, which is a haven for wildlife and fish. Alongside the river are giant Eucalyptus trees, and some ancient monuments left over from the Lycian period. Close to Akyaka you can find remains from the ancient city of Idyma with its Acropolis and Sarcophagus. 

For those who like to chill out around a swimming pool - there is one on the Site.
