The beaches nearby are considered a surfer's paradise. It is in part famous because it was frequented by Jimmy Hendricks and Frank Zappa. About 7 km long, it is surrounded by the mountains of the High Atlas. Killer Point, La Source, Anka Point, and Hash Point are the names given to some of the world-renowned surfing spots in the region of Taghazout. Taghazout has a campground and several new hotels are located nearby. It takes twenty minutes to get to Taghazout, which is connected by bus service from Agadir.

Marion says: "The property was located next to a main road which was not mentioned in the details. The 24hr security was welcome because the locks on the patio doors of this ground floor apartment were broken. The living areas were presentable and comfortable but the kitchen and bathroom were a disappointment. They required cleaning and updating. The oven did not work. There was also a problem with mice ants and cockroaches! The electricity would also intermittently cut out. Unfortunately we would not go back to this apartment if we visited this area again."
