1 double bedroom, large living area with v. good extra bed/sofa, in beautifully designed small beachside complex. Sleeps up to 4. Porto Antigo has its own small sandy beach and large swimming pool. It is the prime spot in Santa Maria. Apartment living area includes dining/kitchen area with extendable table seating up to 6, 4-ring electric hob, large fridge. Fully equipped for self catering. The living area also has very good double bed/sofa, two extra armchairs, TV (mainly Italian + CNN) Shower/wc. Patio/ additional dining area with sea view (to one side). Air conditioned. Some building going on in front during 2007, but quite low tech. ie. not noisy, heavy machinery). Apartment is about 50 yards from sea. Towels and linen provided. Small safe.
Great for family beach holiday. Safe, protected, sandy beach within the small harbour which lies within the complex. There are also long stretches of sand beache a few yards further away. Excellent also for watersports, 200 yards from prime windsurfing centre. Fishing, scuba, kite-surfing also available.
