Inside the old Medina, which in 2001 UNESCO declared a World Heritage site, Dar Antoine is a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment, down a tranquil alley, just a short distance from the bustling Bab Marrakech, restaurants and shops.

Traditionally decorated with attractive Moroccan painted furniture, there is a double bedroom and a second bedroom which may be arranged as 2 singles or a double, whichever is preferred. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space. There is a sitting area and small kitchen with a 2 ring hob and fridge, and bathroom with shower and toilet.  

Essaouira is a wonderful place to visit. Relaxing and with plenty of interest from kite surfing to browsing antique shops, quad biking to sunbathing.  

The Medina is traffic free so if you do arrive with a car, parking is available outside Bab Marrakech. Currently the rate is about £1.50 a day. It is by no means necessary to have a car to enjoy Essaouira, local taxis are inexpensive and if you do wish to go further a field then we are able to arrange a rented car or a car plus driver for you. If you would like to be met at Marrakech, Agadir or Essaouira this can be easily arranged at a competitive price.
 

Cleaning is provided by Hafida our maid. She is also available to shop and prepare meals for you at an additional cost. In the second bedroom, the beds may be arranged as 2 singles or a double bed, whichever is preferred.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: Dar Antoine is a very practical base for anyone wanting to spend most of their time out and about. Located right in the centre of town, with shops, cafes and restaurants within no distance at all, and with the main beach only a few minutes walk away, its an ideal spot for all the activity in Essaouira. The two good sized bedrooms both have plenty of storage so that you dont have to live out of a suitcase, theres an area for relaxing in and the basic kitchen provides enough facilities to create a breakfast or a simple meal. The apartment is at street level so we did hear what was going on outside, but the beds are comfortable with good linen and theres good security, so we slept well
