If you want the peace and tranquility of the countryside, but still be only a 10 minute drive into Albufeira 'old' town, then this outstanding 4 bedroom villa is ideal for you.
Built in 2004, it is located in the quiet village of Cerra do Oura and has 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite) and 2 twin bedrooms (also 1 en-suite). Each bedroom is bright and airy with large fitted wardrobes and a standing fan. In addition, there is a third bathroom with the added attraction of a jacuzzi bath.

The living area of this superb villa is open plan - the kitchen has a breakfast bar and opens into the dining room with an archway through to the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, double sink, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The living room has a wood burning fire with satellite television, stereo, dvd and video player provided.

The dining room area has a most gorgeous glass and marble table and opens onto a patio area .

Outside the villa, there is a tiled patio area with dining table and granite barbecue. The garden also has 8 sun loungers, with sun umbrellas, and traditional seating with mosaic tiles (a very pretty feature). All this surrounds a large swimming pool which has been completed with a dolphin emblazoned in the tiles! The swimming pool is approx. 11 metres by 5 metres with 'walk in' steps at the shallow end.

The fully irrigated garden are partially lawned and have fruit trees and an extensive array of flowers to enjoy.

The villa is enclosed with fencing and walls with electronically operated electric gates leading to a carport and is equipped with an alarm system.

Car hire is recommended.



 

There is a well stocked village shop within two or three minutes' walk of the villa, with an adjoining cafe.

Within a 10 minutes drive, and also on the local bus route, there is the Algarve Shopping Centre, which has a large supermarket, and numerous other outlets

Within a 5km radius, there are a number of local restaurants and cafes all around the hills providing a tranquil setting with inexpensive food and wine.

Outside the village shop/cafe, there is a regular bus route to Albufeira 

KrazyWorld - which boasts a great swimming pool with a couple of shallow pools for very small children, extremely krazy golf, a zoo, pony rides, a children's funfair and those really great trampolines where you bounce sky high but are safely harnessed.

Aqualand (formerly The Big One) and Slide 'n Splash are also within easy reach, as is Zoomarine which offers a spectacular day out - and of course the beach and sea and all the highlights of the coastal towns!

The towns of Alte, Messines and Silves, all of which are full of history and local charm, are all within easy reach. Just driving around the hills offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the gentle pace of life existing away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and the tourist resorts.
 

The villa will sleep up to 10 including small children (Z bed and cots is available) but please note that there is an additional charge per person for parties of more than 8 people The new motorway extension is less than 5 minutes away from the villa and opens up timely access to the rest of the Algarve. The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, tennis, a zoo, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find ...nothing specified.

there are numerous beaches along the Algarve and, inland, the Monchique mountains

Helen says: "We book the villa for 9th feb - 16th feb '08. We arranged for a minibus to pick us up from Faro airport to take us to Casa Dos Bons. The driver went pass the villa a few times until i remembered the picture of it from the web site.When we arrived we were very impressed. It was exactly as it was described on the web site. So clean and spacious. We arrived about 6.30pm and were hungry. We found some useful leaflets telling us about restaurants and take aways and an english speaking taxi service who were very pleasant and helpful. There were portable heaters in the bedrooms which we did need on but only at night. There is a dishwasher but we found out that just before the cycle finished it would trip the electric. We did tell Ann who said she would mention it to the owners. Also be careful when you are lighting the big gas ring as it tends to fire up quite big when lit. There was a log burner but unfortunatly no logs. There was a place that sold logs further up the road but unfortunatly could not speak any english so we could not buy any. Ann was a great help and only a phone call away. The pool man came who was very pleasant and had a nice chat with him. There is a shop and cafe at the top of the road which is very good. We had a meal in the restaurant in the village which the food is lovely but you get 7 starters, main meal and then 7 puddings. We found this hilarious and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the people were so friendly and the meals was 15 euros each, amazing value!! The pool was lovely. The children managed a couple of days in there. There is not much around you have to travel. We hired a minibus which was great and we travelled quite a distance site seeing. The maid came once in the week to give us fresh towels. I would highly reccomended this villa. The bookings were no trouble at all. If you had any queries they were answered very quickly. We will be booking to go again. There was 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 teenagers who were not bored there at all. If you like to stay in a quite location then you will enjoy Casa Dos Bons. It is nice to visit somewhere that is busy but then come back to the villa and relax either in the villa or by the pool."
