VISTA MONTANHA is a lovely executive 4 bed/4bath villa, with own heated pool, mobile internet access, aircon, superb large grassy garden, large pool terrace, swing hammock and boules area. Comfortably sleeps 10 using cot and portable bed. Only 20+ mins Faro airport in countryside setting with other executive villas, all with plot sizes half acre, outside of Moncarapacho, close to Quelfes and Olhao, in the lovely unspoilt Eastern Algarve. 10 mins drive from beaches, superb beach islands, excellent golf. An ideal location for a quality family holiday. Fully gated, very accessible to ground floor and lots of off road parking.

Pool heated free of charge March to end October each year. Pools can be heated November to end February if requested but at extra charge of £100/wk. However no guarantees can be given as to temperature that may be reached as heatpumps rely on ambient temperature. However we will do our best.

Mobile internet access available. You only pay for the hours you use.

The villa has aircon for which there is an obligatory extra charge of £85/wk. This gives warm air in winter, cool in summer ensuring your maximum enjoyment of the villa at all times.

This villa really is exceptionally spacious. Very stylish with marble floors throughout and modern furniture. You will not be disappointed. There are 4 very spacious bedrooms (all with floor to ceiling cupboards) and 4 luxury fully tiled bathrooms. Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The first floor ensuite bedroom has a corner bath, double vanity unit, bidet, wc and shower AND its own furnished terrace. You will fight over this one!!
There is a digital safe in one of the bedrooms. Capacity is increased from 8 to 10 using one sturdy full sized portable bed which can be placed in any room and a portable cot. All are supplied with high chair free of charge.

The lounge comfortably seats 8+ with dining area off to side. There is satellite TV (with BBC and ITV), DVD player, open fireplace and doors to the pool and terrace.

The kitchen is superb with granite work surfaces, hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and broad range of modern conveniences. Fully equipped for 10 There is a washing machine in the utility room.

Off the kitchen is another smaller seating area, with door to a large furnished patio area, with BBQ and deep shade.

There is a full sized boules area and a third seating area in the garden. So lots of places to sit and lots to do. There is a large grassy garden surrounding the villa, safe for children with plenty of room to play football, badminton etc Volley ball area. New for 2010 is a swing hammock! The villa is gated with plentiful off road parking. Plot size in excess of 1700 sq m.

The 10m x 5m pool is heated from mid March to end of October FREE OF CHARGE. It has night lights so fun for everyone during balmy evenings.
It is fully equipped with loungers, table, chairs and there is deep shade for hotter months.

Aircon (warm and cool) to all bedrooms and lounge is an obligatory extra at £85/wk ensuring your maximum enjoyment of the villa at all times.

The surrounding area is rural and totally unspoilt. You will be able to enjoy the slow pace of life, enjoy the REAL Portugal with low cost of living and lovely people. Yet you are only 30 mins drive from the noisier Central Algarve attractions but can return at end of the day to a luxury villa, to the peace and tranquility of the unspoilt Eastern Algarve.

Within 800m of the villa is a superb local bistro restaurant. Just a gentle 15 mins walk through beautiful countryside where our guests go time and time again to enjoy low cost food/drink.

There are some truly glorious beaches and beach islands within 10+ mins drive, many accessed by small train or boat - great fun for the whole family.

For golfers there are some superb E. Algarve courses including the championship Quinta da Cima, Ria, Benamor and the new Monte Rei. Within 30+ mins you can also access all the major Central Algarve courses in Villamoura, Quinta da Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Within the village of Moncarapacho 5 kms away there is a large supermarket, 2 mini markets, cash machines, petrol station, pharmacy, post office, bars, some truly excellent restaurants, cyber cafes, daily meat/fish/veg market and other local shops. Moncarapacho also has a wonderful church square to sit and drink a glass or two of low cost wine and an excellent museum.

Approx 7 mins drive is the town of Olhao with its fishing port, new marina, daily fresh fish markets, excellent restaurants and shopping. From here you can catch a boat to several beach islands.

Fuseta is approx 10 mins by car with lovely unspoilt beach, bars, restaurants and small boat to beach island.

The villa is within easy distance of Tavira which is regarded as the lovliest town in the Algarve. Estoi is also close by with its Roman ruins and Rococo palace now developed into a Poussada. Vila Real, a 16th century town built after the earthquake, is close to the Spanish border only 25 mins by car. Faro and its historic centre is only 20 mins by car. So lots to see and do ... if you can move away from the pool and this fabulous villa!!

Seville is approx 1 hr 50 mins away. Cordoba approx 3 hrs. Lisbon 2.5 hours Road and train links are excellent.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the can be placed anywhere, all rooms big enough. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, golf, tennis, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Many golf course 20+ mins. Ria Formosa Park 10+ mins. Beach islands 10+ mins.

Sean says: "We had very high expectations prior to arrival and Vista Montanha did not let us down. It is even more spacious than portrayed on the website. We are a family of 6, with kids ranging from 15 years to 10 months, and there were facilities to keep everybody happy - fabulous pool, large garden, boules area, satellite TV, DVDs,CDs, books, board games, jigsaws etc. There is an excellent guide book providing information about the villa and surrounding area. They even provided maps, leaflets re attractions, inflatables for the pool, buckets and spades for the beach. I could go on and on, but you get the picture and we definitely recommend it. "
