Situated only 30 minutes from Faro and 1hr 40 mins from Seville airports, makes it easily accessable.(20 minutes from the frontier with Spain)This area of The Eastern Algarve is, quieter and more relaxed than the busier resorts to the west, the area is marvellous for many activity based holidays such as, Walking, cycling, fishing, water sports, bird watching, architecture, touring and sightseeing.

In Tavira and its neighbouring Fishing Villages of Santa Luzia, Cabanas, and Fuseta, you will find that, the food and wine in the area is second to none in Europe.

Beaches in the area are as good as anywhere in the world, they have soft white sand that gently slopes into the Ocean, they are mainly Island beaches and, they are mainly reached by cheap small ferries or, water taxis crossing the beautiful Blue Lagoons of the Ria Formosa in a matter of a few minutes.

There are Six Fantastic Golf courses within 20 minutes, the closest- Benamor is 5 minutes away.

The Villa sleeps 6 or a maximum of 8 people with the use of a double sofa bed.

The Villa has an open plan lounge and American kitchen with dining area, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need,4 burner hob,oven,washing machine,dishwasher,fridge freezer,microwave,toaster,kettle etc etc etc.

On the 1st floor} The studio apartment has Twin beds, well equipped kitchenette with double ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Radio/cd player. Fully tiled bathroom has a shower ,toilet, wash basin etc.
The pool area has wonderful panoramic views and, it has a poolside shower and a barbecue, both pool and garden areas are illuminated with remote controlled mood lighting, the garden has lighting around the footpath for that little romantic after dinner stroll.
Nearest Shop and 2 Bar Restaurants 300 metres away
Nearest Golf is Benamor 10 minutes away, and two other championship courses a further 5 minutes along the same road at Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria.
Taxi into Tavira or Santa Luzia is about 8 euros and takes about 8 minutes.

 

Nestling in the heart of the Ria Formosa nature reserve this area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, in particular bird watchers. The flora and fauna in this area make it such a special place.

The beautiful and ancient town of Tavira is the main local area of activity, it has many bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Tavira still remains unspoilt and is not "too touristy"

The restaurants in Tavira are of a very high standard and, offer a variety of cuisines from, the local dishes "like Mama makes" to more western european dishes, obviously there are the highest quality fish restaurants here too.

The nearby fishing Villages of Cabanas and, our favourite- Santa Luzia also offer a good alternatives to Tavira, with fantastic choices of bars and restaurants, Santa Luzia is an absolute must do night out!(15 euros taxi from villa)

There is a water park at Loule, and there is Zoomarine at Guia, this is a fantastic day out for the whole family with, dolphin and seal shows to delight everyone, there is also falconry and, many birds and animals in fantastic surroundings.

Why not take a day trip into spain, either drive straight across the river Guadiana which forms the border with Spain or, you can take the ferrie from Vila Real Sto Antonio to the beautiful fishing port of Ayamonte, there lots of shops and some great little Tapas bars here but, dont forget its 1hr ahead on the clock! so leave early as the shops observe the traditional siesta.

Seville is easily reached by the A22 main road and, it shouldnt take longer than 2 hours by car-well worth a 1 or 2 night break, its a fantastic city with loads to do.

Some other towns worth a visit are Fuseta, Olhao, and the obvious- Faro. All easily accessible via the A22 or get the cheap coastal railroad from Tavira or, a bus.

2 of the best beaches are at Tavira island (ferries from the town centre) or a must visit is Barrill beach situated just off the west end of Santa Luzia.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
