Two bedroom penthouse apartment in an excellent location overlooking the Guadiana river and Ayamonte, Spain. Vila Real de Santo Antonio is the border town of the east Algarve and the Spanish town of Ayamonte, it is a lovely Portuguese town with everything that you could possibly need for your holiday here in the sunshine. You can either drive across the bridge into Spain or catch the ferry boat and take a short boat ride across the river into the town. The tapas is lovely! With so many historical buildings, fantastic restaurants and bars it is an excellent base - plenty of shopping all year round. The town also offers a theater, a variety of market stalls, markets and many fetes and festivals all year round. At Christmas there is a huge tree in the square which is surrounded with a variety of decorations and of course Santas Grotto! At New Years there is live music and an amazing firework display in Monte Gordo that rivals Disney! Worth seeing.

The living room area is well furnished and comfortable with a dining table and seating for four. There are sliding doors opening out onto the terrace with a stunning view over the river Guadiana, marina and the Spanish town of Ayamonte.

Heating and fans can be provided. Suitable for children.

Not suitable for people in wheel chairs or those who have difficulty with stairs as there is no lift.

Lake fishing, sea fishing, bird watching and many other specialist holidays can be found here in the Algarve and we can help you with these.

Vila Real beach is only a few minutes walk away from the apartment along the river and past the marina.
Monte Gordo beach is only ten minutes drive away and is stunning and you can walk all the way to Cabanas on the beach.

You can find pretty much anything in Vila Real and Monte Gordo from bars, restaurants, cafes and even a casino...
