Villa Connie is a stunning detached Villa with large private pool and is perfect for one or two families wishing for a relaxing holiday on the Algarve.
It is situated in an incredibly peaceful location in the award winning village resort of Alma Verde.
It sleeps 8/9 in 4 ensuite bedrooms with the facility to put up another bed.
Villa Connie was completed in Autumn 2008 and has one of the largest private heated pools on Alma Verde (10m x 5m) with one very shallow end perfect for toddlers or non swimmers. Features include a galleried first floor with full size table tennis and a west facing balcony terrace with great, unspoilt views.
The 4 double bedrooms all have their own loo and shower or bath. 3 of the bedrooms have doors out to the garden and the villa has two hairdryers. The villa boasts an eco friendly climate control system known as cool house which keeps the villa at a pleasant and even temperature. Fans are avaliable if required.
The ktichen has fully fitted granite work tops with microwave, sink, dishwasher, oven/hob/extractor. Also a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and a separate drinks fridge which is fantastic for storing holiday beer and wine!

The dining area seats 8 comfortably at the side of kitchen round a round table and nearby are stairs leading up to a galleried area which houses the ping pong.

There is a large open plan living area with three cream 3 seater sofas and flat screen television receiving cable. All the usual English TV channels are provided as well as many satellite chanels including Sky news, Sky sports, Sentanta and a movie channel. There is DVD player with a selection of dvds and plenty of board games. Two double doors lead out to the patio, pool and garden.

Upstairs is a large galleried area with full size table tennis table and two double doors leading out to an upstairs balcony. There are lovely views to the west and this spot is perfect for an early even drink.
The villa incorporates award winning environmentally-friendly design features such as adobe bricks and uses an innovative low energy cooling system ensuring the rooms stay a constant temperature all day. There are also fans in all the bedrooms

Towels (except beach towels) and 100% cotton bed linen are included. Maid service is provided at the start and end of stay and once a week. Midweek clean can be provided.

 

The beautifully landscaped garden is wonderful for dining outside and includes lemon and olive trees and a backwall made of local stone.
The villa has one of the largest heated swimming pools, 10 m by 5 m at Alma Verde with shallow end for young children (0.8 metre) and very deep end (2.1 metres) perfect for older children to jump in!
Outside you will find 6 very comfortable sun loungers and a patio table to sit 10 people easily. A Weber gas BBQ makes eating outside a joy. The west facing garden does not back on to other villas and attracts sun from mid morning to late evening.
4 Umbrellas to seek shade are provided.
There are 4 new tennis courts and a children’s play area just 3 minute walk from villa. The drive has parking for 2 cars
A car is essential, although, new in Autumn 2009, there will be a supermarket on site. 

The villa is very suited to families with portable high chair, travel cot ,side of the bed, anti slip bath mat, kids beakers and CBBC! There is also a selection of popular board games, books and DVDs and, of course, pool toys, balls and a full size table tennis table upstairs.
There are many wonderful beaches nearby with great beach side restaurants. The more secluded beachs are on the South coast and include Salema, Zavial, Burgau and Ingrina. Bigger wave beaches are at Martinhal and the west coast. All beaches are very clean, unspoilt and not crowded.
The beach restaurants are children friendly.
The area boasts many great golf courses including Parque da Floresta 4km. Boavista. Nearby you could go to
Lagos or Sagres with dolphin watching and boat trips. Slide and Splash, The Big one, Aqualand, Krazy world and Zoo Marine all between 30 to 45 minutes back towards Faro.
Faro airport is now a comfortable 60 minute motorway drive
Lisbon and Seville are 2½ - 3½ hours drive.

If you require pampering or special treatments there is a Wellness Centre on-site which also offers internet access, Wifi and an English babysitter.

Nearest supermarket and petrol are 5 minutes away with others at Lagos, Luz and Burgau. We have found all restaurants to be child friendly.
The hospitality team at Alma Verde are on hand to help with any local queries and there is a 24 hour assistance number.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the substantial camp bed can be put anywhere. This gives room for up to 9 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 9 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Main living and sleeping area on one level, same level as garden BUT kitchen only accesible by 3 wide steps. 

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, wind surfing, horse riding, golf, a sports center, scuba diving, a zoo, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
